These platforms have been running for years with obvious signs of insider trading. I guess it's better late than never that someone was caught officially.

This was always just a marketing gimmick to try and crush competitors using "safety" and fearmongering. Reminds me a bit of "don't be evil." Convenient catchphrases and mission statements for companies in their infancy, but immediately thrown out when more money can be made.

Maybe they'll put claude in charge of the nukes.

Winston, obviously. He left behind his free-thinking and became unwavering to Big Brother. Truly a winner

Well this is entirely believable for what Microsoft is up to nowadays. Copyright law and IP need not apply in 2026.

Micron is so awesome, especially when they stopped selling to consumers. Who needs memory anyways for anything...

Seems pretty neat. Dealing with vendors is always fun...haha.

Any plans for ranking SIEM/SOAR/EDR or other defensive stuff?

That sounds concerning...

How exactly are they measuring their best developers? Is "best" those with the most AI-generated code put into prod???

Huh, the more you know. That's pretty interesting. I didnt know Telegram was banned nor the popularity of WhatsApp (and the new app) but I suppose it makes sense with the circumstances going on there. Appreciate it!

Is WhatsApp really that common in Russia? I would assume most people just use VK and Telegram.

Microsoft - a company with tens of thousands of engineers and billions of dollars in cash (plus assets), cannot support anything legacy, while concurrently failing to deliver a working product on any modern device. With more and more decisions like this, the year of the Linux desktop will be here sooner than we could have ever imagined.
