I totally agree with the author’s point about driving decisions with empirical evidence. It’s really useful to have in mind reasonable benchmarks and expectations for performance and systems to determine whether those are met.
I appreciate the author's insight into more performant react. From my experience it's been difficult to gauge the efficiency of my react components so i'll be auditing my code using these steps!
