Guess it's finally time to close my single PR for Gitea that has been stuck in limbo for almost two years now and move it to Forgejo for good.

It felt alright to keep it open when there was still a chance for it to benefit both projects, but now that that's gone, I see no reason to keep putting up with months of silence and accumulating conflicts between review comments.

Which distributions enable automatic updates by default? And which ones force you to keep them on?

I've yet to experience either of those behaviors in my daily usage of Arch, Debian and Unraid, or in my sporadic use of a few other distributions.

From the user's point of view, yes, that is intended behavior. But the browser can't know that, all it sees is a dropped connection. For all it knows, there could be an actual issue with the network.

But unless you open the dev tools' network tab, you don't know about that request failing.

Just the other day I discovered that someone made that idea commercial. It's an app called Habitica: https://habitica.com/static/home.

Complete with RPG-esque equipment as rewards, quests, pets and bosses.
