I thought people were paying for Mullvad for a service. "Oh, my money is going to fund a political party I disagree with". You pay for a service, and thinking you now have a say on how the service provider decides to use the money they've received is such hubris. "But instead of using the money I gave the company to buy healthy food for his kids, he chose to buy processed food. I'm out." It's sad, almost immature.

"In every case, I have carried out my duties without political fear or favor, focused solely on our mandate of price stability and maximum employment."

I take any claims of absolute neutrality with a huge grain of salt. Besides, he's an unelected bureaucrat. He can only pretend to represent the interests of the people.

I'm glad that at times like these, I switched to Brave browser on all of my platforms (desktop and mobile). I can't recommend it enough.

Having that on a e-bike would be wild.

Should we ever consider broad societal harm, or just focus on individual harm? It's to me just short sighted to only consider the later.

Using Brave Browser and never looked back. I use MSEdge for work stuff (client testing as it's their default). It was vanilla, but recently I had to install uBlock (minimum).

It was too unbearable to do a simple search for some technical info and end up on a website that would LITERALLY slow the OS as a whole due to spike on Edge's CPU and memory usage.
