no, in the given context and dogma, it's just 'persons' all the way down ... and up ....

I'm just annoyed the HN kind is too retarded, which might be age related or not, to throw a better narrative at the rest of us.

You see, it's all "laissez faire" only until it isn't ... and that's becoming a little too obvious to the wrong people ... who are not among the staff but among those who sense and communicate opportunity ...

the last time something similar played out, nobody--the least the left or the greens or anyone considering themselves a fucking democrat or feynman-style anarchist--noticed the fake/posing devil in the details deliberately put on stage as a show of "pwowa" ... ... by those who only held it over multiple but rather individual instances ... the narrative which mostly left them out, .... "almost" went worse ... than history

Germans don't shift. The execute stages of precisely calculated, long-term plans which are need-to-know for multi-functional, cross-sector reasons across existing, predicted and emerging industries and cultural and sub-cultural developments.

It took me a while to understand why it looked like it was the "left" and the green parties that fucked up a golden energy future, but now I understand. With the "more right" parties and style of governance, things will get better, which would not have happened if the former wasn't also true.

Well played.

Sarcasm:

bad bad not good. it's ok for poor people but the poor aren't capital if they produce capital (financial or cognitive or any other) without making someone else richer (in data or money) so your approach is essentially bad for the extended wall street portfolio and thus bad for the economy.

No sarcasm:

Always a good approach. Variation and customization of all kinds of tools are imperative.

The single html file approach is ok.

I did similar stuff, twice, and will transition to python, rust or zig because now freaking web hooks, sms and whatsapp notifications will be useful just because the amount and variety of tasks and active and passive participants is growing, which gave me a much better understanding of what the fuck is wrong with industries, btw (so much less than I thought). Must remember to version control, properly, though, as well as documenting and properly organizing the code, all of which is so damn 101.

> Humans can refine internal models from their own verbalised thoughts; LLMs cannot.

can be done without limitations but you won't get the current (and absolutely fucking pointless) kind of speed.

> Self-generated text is not an input-strengthening signal for current architectures.

It can be, the architecture is not the issue. Multi-model generations used for refining answers can also be tweaked for input-strengthening via multi- and cross-stage/link (in the chain) pre-/system-prompts.

> Training on a model’s own outputs produces distributional drift and mode collapse, not refinement

That's an integral part of self-learning. Or in many cases when children raise themselves or each other. Or when hormones are blocked (micro-collapse in sub-systems) or people are drugged (drift). If you didn't have loads of textbooks and online articles, you'd collapse all the time. Some time later: AHA!

It's a "hot reloading" kind of issue but assimilation and adaptation can't/don't happen at the same time. In pure informational contexts it's also just an aggregation while in the real world and in linguistics, things change, in/out of context and based on/grounded in--potentially liminal--(sub-)cultural dogmas, subjectively, collective and objectively phenomenological. Since weighted training data is basically a censored semi-omniscient "pre-computed" botbrain, it's a schizophrenic and dissociating mob of scripted personalities by design, which makes model collapse and drift practically mandatory.

> a safe self-training loop that today’s systems simply don’t have.

Early stages are never safe and you don't get safety otherwise except if you don't have idiots around you, which in money and fame hungry industries and environments is never the case.

> CoT is a prompted, supervised artifact — not an introspective substrate.

Yeah, but their naming schemes are absolute trash in general, anchoring false associations--technically, even deliberately misleading associations or sloppy ignorant ones, desperate to equate their product with human brains--and priming for misappropriation--"it's how humans think".
