no we use cards for everything, even for just buying an icecream or something.
most older people use cards too actually, but sometimes you can see one struggling with their coins and notes when buying groceries yes.
quite often we pay separate by cards, that is so common the personell even asks if that is how we like to pay. otherwise one pay using his card and we swish (tranfer money instantly using the swish app) him the money.
I’d say he’s correct, people under 60 that uses cash are considered, if not criminal, at least suspicious, like they have something to hide. Or simply wackos.
I haven’t used cash for the last 15 years or so. Except for when I had carpenters at home who wanted to get paid in cash (to avoid taxes, so called black money).
I like the idea of letting AI try to formulate new math problems that are interesting, i.e. worthy research level. I guess we are still a number of iterations away till AI get there though..
i agree on that emission-fraud. but, haha, you know there are loads of videos of your favorite blue colored ones doing the same salute? if that is what keeps you spinning you ran out of car brands long time ago...
Some immigrants do a great job but way too many have no interest in integrating nor working, they are perfectly happy with getting money and social healthcare without giving anything back. They even get enough money to send to relatives not able to leave their shitty countries.
Yeah, maybe it is. It would be cool to make it much bigger, frame it and put it on the wall. Or create a mosaic tiled artwork, similar to Knuth’s dragon curve wall.
There is a very nice MQTT client C++ implementation that works great on embedded devices too. As it so happens, it is right now under formal review for inclusion into Boost.
