DNN RL agents can do that. Of course you'll wave it away as "not general" or "mouse is obviously better". But you won't be able to define that precisely, just the same you're not able to prove ChatGPT "doesn't really reason".

I don't believe your first point will actually work without AGI. It'll run different buggy code indefinitely because it'll never fix all the bugs. My manual experience clearly shows this - GPT4 diverges and from some point in complexity it never recovers.

Not necessarily - you just need hierarchical abstraction memory. I reckon my "token" limit when analysing code is around 7.
