Ah ok. I replied to ~45 minutes stale page.

Raspberry Pi and other SBCs, Android phones and practically all of the embedded devices with a display and microprocessor.

All have unified memory. Linux runs just fine on all of those.

> actively helped Russia in its invasion of Ukraine

That's the opposite. Without Musk, Russia might have succeeded back in 2022. All other communication methods failed other than Starlink, which Musk provided early on.

In terms of concrete actions, Musk has been highly supportive of Ukraine. For that, Ukrainians have been very grateful to him.

Little by little, memories of the 1980s fade.

Curiously Teslas currently have two click wheels in the steering wheel.

That’s nice. Windows drivers have always been a PITA to test.

I’ve been looking for a wind turbine you could deploy on the roof. I’ve got 15 kW of inverter capacity available.

So far my conclusion has been that it’s not yet time for this.

Try quarter of a century.

Time flies.

Thanks! I think both approaches have their uses, neither fully replaces the other.

Embedded Swift in a script. That seems like a useful concept for small scripts on macOS. I will definitely steal this idea.

Thanks! Now I potentially have ~20 USB WiFi adapters I didn’t have yesterday.

Even better, no need to hassle with the WiFi settings on the target system.

In wrong hands, Pico W is actually a bit terrifying device, because it combines USB and wireless.

I would be surprised if you could get even one third of performance of floats. So why bother?

In this case, the whistleblowing was done by DirtyTesla (as credited by Dan). Respect to him for that. Dan has created proven fake videos where Tesla is allegedly unsafe, but got caught. So he has lost his credibility.

It's very important to call out these issues AND to do it honestly.

You should have shown the original video and not the one from Dan O'Dowd. He is not interested in pedestrian safety in any way, he is doing this only to promote his own company, Green Hills Software. He didn't have any issues with Tesla until it stopped using his software.

The original: https://x.com/DirtyTesLa/status/2062260954709049840 or https://xcancel.com/DirtyTesLa/status/2062260954709049840.

Do you mean FSD or Autosteer (or Autopilot or whatever it's called now). I think Tesla left Autosteer purposefully crappy. FSD is excellent at keeping the lane, way better than what your Škoda can do.

There should be a path for local building as well. Node.js is being used on a lot of embedded systems. I’d imagine there are also lots of other reasons for local builds.

3/1 split was common, though. Especially towards the end of 32-bit era.

Are you joking? Russia has thrown everything it has at Ukraine for quite some time.
