It's a 12 column (col) grid, so a 'col-lg-6' takes up half of the page. 'col-offset-3' adds a 3 column margin on the left, effectively centering the element.

My experience is probably not typical (I move around a lot and rarely go to the same Starbucks more than a few times) but I'm only about 70% sure that any given Starbucks will have a connection at all. So I only go in if it's really convenient or I have no other options. That's to say nothing of the speed or reliability - both of which are typically mediocre to terrible.
If I knew with certainty that every Starbucks had a fast and reliable connection, I'd probably patronize them 50-100% more than I currently do. Hell, I'd be on my way out of this hotel in search of a Starbucks right now if I knew that!
No rep needed if all they want is coverage. If they want to craft the message, they still need PR. The job just changes from selling the story to getting the right people to cover it in the right way.

There is also some misunderstanding about who declared bitcoin illegal. The Central Bank deals specifically with monetary transactions - and they were asked for their opinion by a private company, and they gave that company their opinion.
That is the extent of what happened. The government of Thailand is not on a crusade against bitcoin.
That's awesome and I'm a big fan of Bootstrap and use it for nearly every new project.
However I think 'powered' is taking things a bit far. Maybe 'styling' 1% of the web or 'powering the front-end' of 1% of the web. Wordpress uses the term 'powered' and that's fine because they actually do power a huge number of sites. That doesn't apply to most large sites running Bootstrap. Take Coinbase for example. They're still basically just running stock Bootstrap - but the site is 'powered' by a beefy custom backend.

They appear to have decided to keep it all on the rapgenius.com domain but are calling the different verticals "_____ Genius"
If you hover over 'rap' in the navbar you see a dropdown with the following:
-rock -> links to rock.rapgenius.com
-poetry -> links to poetry.rapgenius.com
-news -> links to news.rapgenius.com
On those subdomains the logo reads 'rock genius' 'poetry genius' or 'news genius'. I checked and they own the .com for each of those as well, which redirect to the subdomains. They also have corresponding Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Very disappointing to see no data of any kind on the Good Old Days other than the word of some people they met in a park in San Francisco. Needless to say, their word is extremely unreliable.
Two claims specifically are pretty obvious exaggerations/blatant lies:
That a marijuana dealer can make 4-times more selling in New York than in California[1]. And that street kids used to make enough in a few days to travel for weeks[2].
[1] Unless the difference is purely a matter of volume, price alone cannot account for that big of a difference, as the article seems to imply. Marijuana is more expensive in New York but it's nowhere near 4-times more expensive.
[2] I sold marijuana in the bay area in the timeframe referenced in the article, between roughly 1999 and 2001 (in the dorms, to friends and friends of friends and friends of friends of friends etc). Yes the prices were higher than they are today ($50 an 8th was standard) but wholesale prices were also much higher. In the end I was lucky to clear $100 an ounce, after smoking myself - which the street kids surely do. They'd have to have been selling a half pound or more per day at full retail to make the claim even remotely possible.
And a small piece of anecdotal evidence - I went to Haight Ashbury in search of some weed not long ago. I asked some street kids near the park. I was quoted $60 an 8th and they were unwilling to bargain. The quality was low - probably over 100% markup from what they paid. Those kinds of margins were not possible in the Good Old Days glorified in this piece.
Cliffs: don't take the word of street hippies on how great things were in the past.
I actually haven't lost money. I still have a 57% overall profit (at a price of $3.03).
It does suck though. Similar to how it probably feels to have your startup be acqhired. It's not a total loss - but it's definitely not what you were aiming for.
I've been betting heavily on a turnaround, adding to my position in ZNGA each time it dipped below $3. Real money gambling I knew would be the savior and since they weren't burning much cash any more, they just had to wait for that to pass in the US.
Them canceling those plans - and Mattrick saying they are 'resetting' and expect volatility to continue, makes me lose my faith. I think I'm going to get out of the stock.
I don't know much about Mattrick so maybe he is a turnaround specialist and what he did at EA and Microsoft was great and he will save the company - but the business they are in is a loser. And they don't appear to be interested in a pivot.
Sad day. I now agree with the sentiment that Zynga is a dead company.

Steve Jobs is another one who clearly didn't have that very common gene. After getting fired from Apple he could have just done drugs and had sex for the rest of his life. But he kept on building. And building. And building.
Where would you recommend to stay if I wanted to go for a week or two and check things out? I'd just be showing up unannounced (the VegasTechFund site seems to encourage that) but would want to get as close to an authentic experience as possible to what it would be like to actually live there.
