I would say, jfdi. You can provably build a decent mvp in a few weeks from scratch with no prior knowledge in a tool of your choice. I would personally chose react native + typescript + mobx.
This actually makes sense. If you get upset because someone sounds patronizing, wouldn't it make sense to look for the root cause in yourself, e.g. a low self esteem or whatever else that is triggering this negative emotion?
