I hate to break it to Susan Wojcicki, but the fact that there are differences between the two sexes is backed up by years of scientific research. She might not like this research and she may discuss the conclusions, but she can't blame the person who is bringing these findings to public attention.
Yes, Susan. The fact that there are less women in tech might have something to do with biology, although the relationship might not be as simple as some portray. What you choose to tell your daughter is totally up to you, although I think you should add "I believe" to be honest with oneself.
To downvoters: an excellent book (by women who are scientists) has been posted earlier today: The Science on Women and Science (http://www.aei.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/-the-science-o...). I'd like to quote one paragraph from it:
We have reviewed overwhelming evidence that genetic and hormonal differences between males and females are major causes of sex differences in behavior. These include differences in social behaviors in infants, play behaviors, interests, activities, educational and vocational goals, choices of occupations, patterns of cognitive abilities, and the frequency of extreme giftedness in spatial, mechanical, and mathematical ability. The dominance of female doctoral students in the life and human sciences and of male doctoral students in the inorganic sciences and engineering is consistent with and predictable by sex differences in interests and ability patterns. The greater social interest and ability of females than males is evident in infancy. The differing play activities and interests of boys and girls share similarities with sex differences in the play behaviors of nonhuman primates. Interests, activities, values, and vocational goals that differentiate girls from boys and women from men are strongly affected by the level of fetal androgen exposure or tissue sensitivity to androgen.

"Delusions of Gender" is a good book that explains how brain science, still in its infancy and unable to create good baseline controls to separate cultural from biological factors, is misreported to create garbage headlines like "men like sports and women like shopping because of hunter-gatherer roots", or "female babies stare at faces longer, therefore empathy".
There's interesting stuff in the field, but absolutely nothing that would warrant telling a woman "the science is in". Especially given the track record of people itching to chalk injustice up to biology.

>“Mom, is it true that there are biological reasons why there are fewer women in tech and leadership?”
Disgustingly using her children to cause an emotional response.
