Whenever I get sent a job spec from a recruiter, it’s always the same format...
“Green field this.. wow!”,
“using technology a, b and c.. oh golly!”,
“The leading blah de blah company in the industry... !”
If just one job ad highlighted that a company promoted good work-life balance, flexible hours (as well as the above points), I’d be 100 times more keen to apply.
I don’t know if this makes me sound lazy, but that’s not where I’m coming from. It’s just that, if I knew a company truely had its employees well-being at heart, I’d really be so much more keen to work for them long term and put in great effort and passion, in exchange for flexibility and wellbeing.
