The asking price is $325M, so no, I can’t buy Paul Allen’s yacht
If you pay cash today they'd probably accept a lower offer. At least that's been my experience buying stuff on Craigslist.
The potential market for this boat numbers under 1000 people or maybe even under 100 I'd say.
From the listing companies website,
> this yacht is not available for sale to US residents in US waters
I suppose that number is quite small. However I bet this would be a nice addition to some wealthy drug lord, I mean I comes with 2 subs. I wonder if they take cash

A while ago there was a thread about an article that claimed that more people than you think can afford to buy a Superyacht but less people than you think an afford to maintain one. The article called those groups "LeBron James rich" and "Abramovich rich" if I remember correctly. The article claimed that this was the reason that most Superyachts are "playboys luxury pads" (as another commenter called it) where most passenger pay in some form or other be allowed to be on the yacht.

Well, the joke goes: A yacht will bring joy to the owner twice: first time when bought, second time when sold.

Yes. And "a boat is just a hole in the water to pour money into".
Well, you'd probably have to be on this list:

Or, take a risk and charter it to offset some of the est. $32.5mil annual run cost. Filling the tank can't be cheap, but a 12,500 mile range is pretty amazing.

Would suit James Cameron perhaps
James Cameron's net worth is estimated at 700 million.
the asking price for the Yacht is almost Half.
Then taking into consideration, the expesnive maintanence costs, i dont think even James cameron could afford it.

Wow, interesting
Or, possibly Elon.
It's rare to see superyacht that is tastefully designed and has interesting functionality.
We’re in 2019 and there is still some websites that mess with the browser history and break the back button. (iOS/safari)
It‘s not decreasing it‘s increasingand i think it‘s completely intentional. Happens more and more on sites with content designed to be shared.
Browsers should start punishing captive traps. There are valid use cases for SPA redirects without user interaction, much like how HTTP redirects ("Location: ") work, but... abuse should be dealt with.
The browsers should just fix it. Clicking back should skip over all those pages in the back-stack that I didn’t interact with.
You could imagine that the name was supposed to evoke James Bond because it certainly looks like something from a Bond movie.
