Ask HN: What is the best way for a 3 year old kid to learn English ?
Hello HN,
I have a 3 year old cousin and i came across https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_period_hypothesis which says language learning is much easier for kids. I want my cousin to take advantage of this period to learn English from a native speaker. Are there any online resources structured for kids to pick up the language by listening to an instructor preferably with American accent with minimal help from the tutor ? I want to avoid tutoring from the parents as much as possible, as i fear she might acquire the thick accent and may not sound like native speaker. Thanks.
