At this point, the question must me asked "Just who in the hell do you think you are?"

They left order late. They tried to strong-arm a less-than-cost price, without contributing to funding the research, blamed the UK for their own incompetence and put the lives of EU citizens under further unnecessary risk. This is nothing but state bullying.

I voted remain and am still an ardent remainer; this is making the Brexit case stronger the longer it goes on.

That's what scares me...

So you agree with the EU's actions on this? You are refuting that they are in the wrong? I grew up in France and have elderly relatives there. The fact that the EU are behaving like this is deeply saddening.

She said the company had delivered only 30% of the doses promised in the first quarter of 2021. She also pointed out that although the contract with AstraZeneca had stipulated that the EU would receive vaccines from factories in the EU and Britain, "we have received nothing from the Britons, while we deliver vaccines to them."

She also said she'd block exports if they didn't get the rest of their order before anyone else, which given the 'negotiation' that went on is a bit rich.
