The water supplies are just one example - so much in our civilization rests on trust. I think it would be better to accept that there is no absolute safety and the only thing that will make us collectively safer is to create and maintain good and peaceful relations.

I’m not sure we will ever be unhackable, but I think very basic sanity checks throughout these systems should be able to prevent true catastrophe.
