No they are not. I am all for skepticism but bad faith is something else, and many of the included examples clearly demonstrate that.

it seems there's a general distrust that has grown over the years possibly due to faulty dialog between the two camps, and a ton of broken promises over the years. for some, once you loose their trust it's nearly impossible to get back. but this is speculation from general observation.

Well you are actually correct, the loss of trust is never really addressed, and it cannot be. How can you even trust data from govt/pharmaceutical companies, let alone carefully analyze it?

Are we looking to go back to medieval times that skepticism is not tolerated and have some digital version of the Pope that acts as the fact checker on reality?
