This narrative seems just as cherry-picked, but at least he is asking the right questions and making a valid point. I think it's always 'the whole truth' part that allows the media to skew one way or the other. We've weaponized television into pure propaganda at this point. There were good reasons why news used to be on at the same time every night, for 30 minutes, and covered by the fairness doctrine. We are now seeing those reasons play out, and the damage is terrible. Without a consistent understanding of the facts, we have a large portion of the USA (>30%) who believes the last election was rigged. We have a large portion of the USA who believe climate change is not real, and as a result, we are unable to organize a coherent response. If this had happened during the ozone layer crisis, we would no longer be able to spend any time outside without getting cancer. These information wars are preventing our civilization from responding to real threats.
I feel sad for legitimate Journalists.
My present default assumption is that whatever I read, see or hear in the mainstream media channels is probably close to the opposite of the truth.
