Think about the chef who has cooked 5000 lobsters in his career, are you really sure that you (a policy maker) want to micromanage that guy and tell him how to do his job? Don't let your moral crusading get in the way of people who are just trying to eat.
I'm glad this barbaric practice is coming to an end.
Is there evidence to suggest that throwing a lobster into boiling water doesn't instantly kill it?
