This content is extremely high quality. You can still get some of it on the Patron account linked to that channel: https://www.patreon.com/jimcantswim
I got really into criminal psychology after watching this channel, fascinating stuff.

As an aside; I found the channel through the video “Wrath of Jodie” and find it to be extremely high quality, I would recommend checking out the channel before it vanishes… it can be higher quality than most true true crime documentaries and is generally less biased.
No affiliation, just a fan.

Eh, they say its censorship but go into 0 detail about what YouTube disliked about the content. They quote the policy but don't explain at all if they think YouTube had a political problem with them or what.
I started doing true crime on my channel a couple months ago (e.g., https://youtu.be/rahUfvkIGE0) and have been following this story. Essentially, JCS's content keeps getting flagged for "violence" and "sensitive events," and YouTube's response has basically been to handwave the complaints from JCS. When you actually look at the flagged reasons, JCS's content clearly falls within acceptable guidelines.
My best guess is that JCS got too big, and his videos have popped up in even non-true crime fans' feeds. YouTube is trying to walk on eggshells with its advertisers after its many past problems with ads being pulled due to advertisers not liking certain content.

Hey your video got taken down because of a copyright claim. Was that legit? I had the video up last night, didn't finish it (was a long one), and right now I can't watch it anymore.
Regardless, loved it. What's your channel link? I like the time you spent pre-ambling about narcissism and then leaving space for the 8 minutes of just the interrogation, then returning with commentary. Often channels I've seen just call things JCS inspired and basically upload only the interrogation, not the analysis of the behaviour.
If you're getting flagged on material that isn't specifically theirs that really sucks. I don't recall seeing any watermark on the video (tbf I wasn't looking for a watermark), and I'd hate it if your amazing content is getting blacklisted just because another channel doesn't like others doing better work.

They never claimed "censorship". They quit over having the videos flagged constantly. They acknowledged Youtube's right to do this.
They'll probably go to https://odysee.com
https://www.reddit.com/r/jimcantswim/wiki/index/episode-dire... seems to be a complete listing of available content.
Edit - after looking at the wiki page it seems a lot of the YouTube links are already taken down or made private.
