I'd be very very worried about a protein model that just came out alphafold to be used to come up with drug targets without at least some molecular dynamics simulation of the solution within which that protein works with. There may be other glycans, ligands, or wholly different metabollites that could affect this binding.
What is the licensing of AlphaFold? If the drug makes it to market, does the creators owe royalties?
One of the follow-ups points to https://github.com/deepmind/alphafold/issues/14#issuecomment... which comments "Hi, we have recently changed the license terms for the AlphaFold weights to CC BY 4.0, which permits commercial use", from 4 days ago.

Sounds like that startup was hedging their bets for the license to change
