I don't know how anyone can tolerate using twitter. I follow only two accounts yet my feed is like an open sewer, makes me nauseous.
Reminds me of the microeconomic difference between classical music and cocaine. Both are addictive goods i.e. marginal utility increases with consumption. But classical music is providing positive consequence whereas cocaine and doomscrolling "removes" negative consequence (mileage will vary w/ different time scales).
