Well, some of the gen x and younger folk will have to step up and handle what the retiring baby boomers were doing. Boring stuff that pays the bills and keeps the lights on. Hopefully, there’s some overlap for tech transfer but it’s going to have to be done.
Good point. But even they are so badly needed now that they can make their own terms, to an unprecedented extent.
Sad when those who complain about legacy code etc. don't realize it pays their salary.
