On the other hand, male experts are victims of mangettingcalledretarded.
“Mansplaining” is a sexist term.
You should meet my sister, she always knows better.
Isn't this just a feature of social media? I see these types of responses all day long on Reddit and few people have their gender listed on their profile.
I think people just love being contrarian or insufferable know it all's.
Ohh no is this comment mansplaining?

Or, you know, case in point, people just disagree? You know, like your comment disagrees with the premise of the article :-)
Why would they have to be "contrarian" (as in, for contrarianism's sake) or "insufferable know it all's" to have an argument?

I think the tone is the major issue with "mansplaining" however to be honest I'm unsure how tone works over text based communications.
Saying "okay" to a dinner idea might be construed as not being a fan of said idea, or "yes we can have that for dinner"

I am a male and I am the victim of mansplaining. Throughout my life, people have talked over me and corrected me.
Same. I also once had a woman say the exact same thing I'd said earlier, in a meeting, and get credit for the idea (which the company adopted).
Not a big deal, I just thought it was funny to have such a stereotypical sexism-in-the-workplace thing happen to me, as a guy.

No, when a man explains something to another man, that's called mentoring and it is part of the patriarchy.
If the women can have Frauengruppen the men must be permitted to have Männerbünde. Safe spaces for everyone!

giant human habit -> points to -> giant portion of humanity; hilarity ensues
It's common among all genders and platforms not just twitter. Disagreement exists
Try criticizing bitcoin in a forum, as a male, and see how far it will take you...
Hah, take that energy industry. You are the ones that have to be inclusive and diverse now.
Unless we're talking about interactions like "go back to your kitchen", it's like people are considering it bad when a member of 50% of the population says something and a member of another 50% might disagree and makes its case (what are the statistical chances!)
