Russian salad contains french beans. Or does freedom salad contain freedom beans? Raised eyebrows are serious business of course.

Russian salad is a very common dish in Spain. Why? I have no idea. I went to Spain once and really took a liking to eating it.

I would imagine that you can buy "Russian [salad] Dressing" at most American grocery stores. You certainly could back when the Cold War was on.
