Not asking for a location meaning the remote job is not bound to a certain location. You can literally work from anywhere in the world.
Most remote jobs allow only to work from a certain location(US, UK, etc), that's why I am curating this.
This won't work for us employers as they need your location to know how much to tax you.

This only makes sense for contract positions.
If you're going to be an employee, you need to be eligible to work in the country where the job is posted.

This makes it seem like they still very much will ask for your location (and subsequently base your salary on it)
