Ask HN: Storing and Organizing Bookmarks?
How do you store and organize your bookmarks? Would a wiki make sense?

It's a semi-regular question https://hn.algolia.com/?q=ask+bookmarks E.g. "Ask HN: How do you manage your bookmarks?" https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22105561 with 250 comments
I use the SingleFile extension, which downloads the website with the CSS, images, etc. That way if the page ever disappears, I still have a local copy. It also makes it very easy to search things.
SingleFile looks very promising. You then further organize the saved bookmarks into a folder hierarchy on your disk? Is there any other way to have a quick look at the bookmarks from within the browser itself?

On the browser itself? A few months ago I started to rely on Safari's bookmark system only to save long-term pages and temporary ones — for a weekly newsletter of interesting links[1] I publish.
It's been working very well. Easier to save (it's built in, after all), within reach all the time thanks do syncing via iCloud, and when I'm at the computer, I appreciate the new(-ish?) Safari sidebar (`Command + Shift + L`) to access and manage bookmarks.

Consider giving https://tefter.io a try, you can even use it for work to share bookmarks with your colleagues. (disclaimer: I develop it)
I'm using gmail with filters. I created filter that redirects all mails with subject "ToCheck" to folder named "ToCheck". On Mac I created shortcut (using apple native shortcuts app) that sends an email to myself with specific subject, usually just "ToCheck". Then I binded a keyboard shortcut to this apple "shortcut" so when I copy and press keyboard shortcut my selection would go into mail folder
Have a look at BrainTool (https://braintool.org) Saves bookmarks into a nested topic hierarchy with associated notes. Text search and full keyboard controls. Everything is saved to an accessible plain text file.
I self host wallabag with browser extensions and an app on my phone.
I wrote Static Marks [1] to manage my bookmarks.

Raindrop.io is my new go-to for bookmarks, web, phone app, works everywhere.
