Yeah, I assume the whole poll about whether he should resign as CEO of twitter was to placate TSLA investors... but then he goes and says he'll run Twitter software & servers when the new CEO takes over. That's not gonna make TSLA investors feel warm & fuzzy.
Listen to this from about minute 35. The price may not go up again.

Now he says he'll "just" run the software and server teams. And be owner, of course. That leaves not even the possibility that the new CEO will be anything but a figurehead, there to take the blame for whatever Musk decides.
Exactly. Who would be gullible enough to take that role? Also Musk micromanaging software & servers is going to cause more people to quit.
Regrettably, none can be found so he'll bear that cross like the hero he is.
plot twist: he is going to take a loooong time, maybe until he resells it . There is always a catch.
Wow. That was quick.
Anyone qualified enough to run Twitter is going to be smart enough not to take the job while Elon owns it.
Edit:
Another consideration -- Is this even worth it at this point? Will advertisers return to a platform that has shown rash decision making in terms of content moderation and policy changes?
It takes years to foster that trust and Musk has undone much of that in a matter of a month or so.
