ChatGPT has flaws and is underwhelming
There are many flaws in ChatGPT and hope someone could shed some light on positives about ChatGPT. In my opinion, it seems like a combination of a worse version of Google, a somewhat cool software debugging tool, and a worse version of Amazon Alexa or Apple Siri. Here are some issues:
• ChatGPT doesn't know itself vs Amazon Alexa / Apple Siri do.
• ChatGPT doesn't recognize that there are infinitely many numbers between zero and one. Easy quick Google search with "14,870,000,000 results (0.76 seconds)."
• ChatGPT believes the van der Waals forces are chemical forces when actually they're physical interactions. Then can’t answer the how part. Again super fast easy google search or wikipedia lookup.
• ChatGPT can be convinced that 10 + 5 = 17.
I'm posting this because I want to be positive on new developments on AI, but seems a lot of work needs to be done to actually make this an advanced technology.

The biggest weakness of ChatGPT is that you do not know the source of the information that it presents to you.
With Google, you can apply human assessment and judgment on the veracity of the information based upon your knowledge of the reliability of the source of the information. With ChatGPT that is not possible.

Is this such a big problem? Everybody must verify data anyway. Otherwise bad things may happen. Like evil ai apocalypse that scientist have warned us about.
