Ask HN: Anyone else notice a shift on this site. Did many leave to work on AI?

YC and the VCs behind it are deeply invested in LLM products. https://techcrunch.com/2023/03/30/ai-startups-ycombinator-de...
Someone really tried to self-promote their AI startup but it got marked as [dead], thats how you know its getting bad
Or do you mean lots of different/new people? Me? I don't even work for a startup, i'm a lowly tech support engineer, but I come here because I like the tech discussion plus the more intelligent discussion on other things, reddit has become trash for anything I like, it's full of people that have no idea about anything they are following and they argue like children, hacker news is the one place I can come for sharing interesting content and discussion now, as everywhere else on the internet that seems interesting to me has become saturated by nonsense, I suspect more people are finding hacker news for that reason too.
