Enthusiasm aside, I'm waiting a few years from now to see how easy it will be to self manage all those hardwares, change or upgrade servers, disks, ram, etc... I'm not an advocate for the cloud (all my businesses are served from selft-hosted bare machines) but it sounds like a mode effect.
Biggest takeaway for me from this article:
(a) Huge cost savings ($38K/week) by moving away from cloud,
(b) Using MRSK for web app deployment (instead of Kubernetes).
