Apple Music has so few 3rd party apps in fairness. Spotify has basically shafted the developer community who built their platform and fan base for them (Soundwave, Greenroom, and all the other services that have been built on top of them that Spotify have cannibalised and killed) so they deserve a mass migration even of 3rd parties. Here's hoping this is it.
One of the reasons, of which there are many, I prefer AM over Spotify is their human-curated playlists. They’re so good, much better than any ML recommended music I’ve experienced (Spotify or otherwise). I have worked on ML teams for over half of my career, but I don’t think it works well for music.
Human curation does not scale or cater for individual tastes sadly!

Because once July 1st hits the site will be likely filled with more trash than actual content. It's unwise to rely on it.

Anyone make the switch from Spotify to Apple Music recently?
I considered it a couple years ago, but Spotify’s recommendations were much better back then.
Been seeing too many podcast ads and wondering if anyone can comment on switching?

Spotify has become anti-music in my grumpy opinion.
More interested in stuffing entitled wanna-be-monarchs and "just asking questions" supplement shills down our throats than actually playing music.
Neil Young was wrong about audio compression, but he was right about this.
