Context: Tutanota's product called "Secure Connect" is being decommissioned November 1, 2023, according to email to customers today.
Question: What is a good replacement for secure hosted contact forms? The more features like Secure Connect had, the better, since that's what needs to be replaced for their current customers.
Features that are welcome include: hosted solution, E2EE, 2-way communication, file attachments, no need for submitter to bring an email address, page customization, and bringing your own (sub)domain name.
In terms of entrepreneurship: If there is no current competitor, is this is an opportunity to capture however many customers Secure Connect had? Tutanota is focusing elsewhere, but there could be a market for this still. Or is this discontinuance an indication that the market does not exist?
[Note: This is a thoughtfully refactored re-post. I'm not sure why the original post was made dead, but I think it's because the first try linked to duplicative social media thread in a "question" post. Sorry for that noob mistake. This is a legit question for the YC/HN community, and the topic was an area of interest of Aaron Swartz through his programming of SecureDrop (which still exists), which obviously inspired the Secure Connect product by Tutanota, which lasted as a commercial offering from 2021-2023.]
