porkbun email is $24/year, their wordpress is $12/month... at that point I'm nearly going "you know, vultr does instances for like $6/month... and mailu is a thing?"

Adding to this, open a ticket with them requesting to open outbound email after verifying that it is indeed blocked.
A majority of VPS providers started blocking outbound email on new accounts until a ticket is opened. Existing accounts that could send email can still do so.
