These are the worst mantras that we can ever hear coming out of those we put in political positions. Absolutely an attorney general is it a political position. Now if his argument was that parental oversight and parental consent needs to be required for minors using platforms that would be a different argumentation that I would be more sympathetic to. Because then it would give parents the tools to monitor and decrypt and review the messages and determine what's going on. This nonsense that the government needs to do it is bullshit and is always bullshit every time they make the argument.
Keep in mind one of the most costly and wasteful and wrongly prosecuted cases that we've ever had is the McMartin preschool trial. The news media had a field day with it when it first came out. This is the same kind of nonsense that was. Hopefully the people from Nevada can see this and remove them from office immediately. Of course I don't think the news media really publishes the results of the McMartin preschool trial because they are just as culpable as the morons who wrongfully tried to prosecute it for 7 years.

I know why! Because then the surveillance, privacy infringement, and gross overreach are obvious and in your face, and the culprit is clear! But they want to keep it discreet, like it's just a happy accident that you have no privacy left.
