the article could have gone into the fact that the main component of Elmer's glue is polyvinyl acetate, which comes in food-safe versions, and is used in chewing gum and chocolate, and is sprayed on apples to make them shiny. also used in sausage casings.
Whether AI surfaces it or a search engine does, blindly following reddit troll posts shouldn't be worthy of an article in a supposedly "legitimate" rag like BI.
All sorts of questions could surface all sorts of answers, like swallowing goldfish, eating tide pods, teaspoons of cinnamon, you name it and it's probably been a meme or a fad.
This grown woman needs to find a real job, or to refuse writing the degrading clickbait nonsense that, far more than any AI, actively makes the internet a worse place. It's not cute, or funny, or entertaining, or educational. It's profoundly ignorant and deceptive and is being used to push this notion of "AI bad!" on behalf of legacy media tabloids like Business Insider.
It's not all in good fun, or silly, or engaging, or clever. It's hot flaming garbage, and Katie should be ashamed. If it were written by a child, then maybe it'd be excusable, but she's old enough to know better.

it told me to eat glue so i ate glue -> good description of most of this worlds problems. people are just begging for attention and do dumb shit for it.
so much text and headers for basically "look at me"
Just when you thought I couldn't get any more stupid.

"it was kind of OK", "Did the glue keep the cheese from sliding off? You bet it did" - Google vindicated? Maybe they've finally developed AGI that can choose counterintuitive answers that work.

Why?
Effective clickbait, since we're both commenting on it here.
Joke's on them - I didn't click the link.
Bring eyeballs to the page to bring food to their table. For me, the ad was in fact for Google's AI itself: "AI that can build apps in just hours. Discover Whats new. - Google Cloud". How well targeted to my interest areas! Perhaps I'll click though...
... No Intel inside
This is 404 in my country
The glue may have been non toxic at room temperature. After baking many things change.
Random fact that I completely forgot and didn't even occur to me reading the article. Absolutely this.
This is silly...
