I was surprised how quickly the cycle happens between media beds (every few seconds).
I wonder what the energy budget is vs electrolysis. It's probably orders of magnitude cheaper (albeit a bit dirtier).

Electrolysis is super-expensive and slow. Industrially oxygen can be extracted cheaply using fractional distillation of air, but it can't be scaled down for individual welders.
Cool idea. I would be interested in knowing the concentration you achieve and flow rates (LPM/CFH). This wouldn't work in my workshop as we don't treat our equipment nicely enough and we don't have sparkies to tend to it.
I wonder how this performs compared to the cheap concentrators you can get off ebay.
