Under these conditions, it's not possible to predict what the final cost of AI will actually be.

Right now, we are still in the "bait" phase. The "switch" comes later.

Properly, the title should be "OpenAI is losing about three times more than the revenue it collects" because to date OpenAI has had no earnings.

The multi-trillion-dollar question is whether the economics will improve at OpenAI.

If they don't improve dramatically, absent gobs more fresh capital, OpenAI will run out of money.
