If Slack would increase price too much or go rogue with unbereable ToS terms, how screwed would your company be today?

Thinking about the same. Anyone experiences with Zulip vs Matrix/Element? Both seem to be the only true and mature foss solutions Dabbled with both a bit and so far felt that Zulip is a bit more polished and communication friendly. Use case is for a small startup (around 10 people and growing). Thoughts?

IMO Zulip is better than matrix in every way. But I haven't used matrix in a few years now.

Zulip seems to be preferred, as Mattermost is twiddling towards enshittification, which I was not aware of when I made the comment above.
