Ask HN: What is better to do, big projects or small ones?
I'm a regular developer, and I'm faced with the question of whether I'm really doing small projects like utilities or libraries - is that correct? I just always thought it's better not to waste time on something big to see people's reaction, whether they really liked your work, but usually my mini utilities or libraries don't become popular And I thought maybe it's because of their scale, like they're so simple that nobody needs them. So I want to ask you what's really better: doing mini projects with the hope that someday it will be useful to someone useful, or do something large-scale?

Assuming it's open source: Perhaps split the time in your own projects and also collaborate in others' bigger projects. (Github profile?)
Assuming it's for profit: Whatever the customers pay for, assuming it's legal and moral.
