Ask HN: Anyone else exhausted by too rapid development of news?

Agree totally! I'd start by pulling the plug on X.
Of course, much these days is the Orange Blob regime flooding media with daily chaos and outrage. No time to digest the "news" when it's a literal firehose in your face.

It’s funny how we all complain about the noise and at the same time we’re all part of generating it.
Maybe that’s just the nature of fast-moving ecosystems.

That’s the difference between success and burnout.
FOMO is the self lie.
You sound like an addict.
Ignore the noise. take one good idea and run with it

Was just thinking this hype cycle feels long in the tooth, I'm ready for the next tech trend.
way too exhausted lol. by the time I digest it all today its already tomorrow.
Every other day a new model. Or a new vibe coded project. Or some other AI sensation making the rounds.
Sometimes I think: Has any of this benefitted me truly?
Add to that all of the geopolitical events going on atm.
It's just too many things being flung at you daily.
Warren Buffet famously said "ignore the noise. take one good idea and run with it."

Biggest two sources for this for me are HN and in a worse manner X.
Should I quit? But then again, ignore it for just two days and you already considered the one "living under a rock" ...
