Odd they picked China. Would've thought that's a growth area for most Western enterprises where you need to have local presence.
They are going to pay salaries through August (no work required), outside of severance ; is this a China thing?
One of the affected Chinese engineers affected told me it's the minimum legal.
What severance package were they offered?
