this mirrors my experience, but it doesn't give much actionable advice and probably only rings true to those who have experienced the same motions. "You only know your project shipped if your leadership acknowledges it". Yes ok great, how do you get their attention. I think this piece could be more easy to understand and influential if the author included a specific IRL project as a case study instead of having a bit of memoir about the vibes of their experience.
Peloton Bike. I bought it for my wife and thought, I've never been an indoor spinner person. I thoughth I would hate it, and now I ride it 240 minutes/week. I've lost 25 lbs in 4 months, I sleep like a baby and I have more energy and focus when I'm awake. The threshold energy needed to hop on the bike is much lower than the threshold energy needed to go to the gym so I just do it way more frequently. Strong endorse.
None of the platforms will ever send you a single invoice for a group of contractors for legal reasons. Each contractor needs to invoice you directly due to US employment law. disagree, sort of. The marketing was always shit, but the 2 big differences between LTE and 5G are latency and cell size.
Cell size matters because there is a ceiling for how many devices an LTE cell can support in a certain range. Thats why you get crappy speeds/connectivity’s at concerts/events/crowded areas. As I understand it, 5g can support more devices per cell, and also can have smaller cells for more connection density. With latency, LTE has a baked in 300ms min latency that 5g does not, so 5g can be used for latency sensitive applications.
