We're rapidly moving from "AI as an answering machine" to "AI as an operator." It makes perfect sense that the browser is the first major environment to be abstracted away. If an agent can fetch, cross-reference, and summarize my daily reading list in the background while I work on something else, it completely redefines what a "browser" is even meant to do.
