How is this "dead simple" engine simpler than creating a HTML file and hosting that on a webserver? I couldn't find an explanation of why this is "dead simple".
I wonder what would happen if instead of blocking H-1B visas, they put a price floor on all lecture positions that incentivised hiring locally (why go through the trouble of going through the H-1B process when you will pay the same regardless).
Almost as if it would be nice if we had a real minimum wage.
What a mire this will be for businesses if this lawsuit goes anywhere. I agree with the sentiment of it, and it makes me question the strategy the US Gov is taking for the tariff rollback.
Based on how both US parties treat privacy, I would guarantee that this is going to be mainly for special interests benefit (i.e. business) and not the citizens the politicians are supposed to represent.
