Re: this guy's suicide, it's not normal. Most of us have an insatiable will to live. He's a child in 47 year olds body who never grew up. Even in his Facebook post, he hints that he will 'hang on' if a cure is coming next week.
Like any of us have control over that. It's a kid's point of view.
But like a lot of emotionally stunted programmers, he never learned how to be an adult.
