A lot of tech blogs are clamoring about a supposed "Tesla Model Pi Smartphone" that Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, tweeted about earlier this week. But we're not so sure it's for real.

Here are the facts: Musk tweeted a picture of the phone with specs (a certified shock-proof shell, fingerprint reader, and a 5-inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution) and an email to sign up for updates on the product. That's it.

Not only has there been no announcement—besides the tweet—from Tesla, but there have also been no announcements from any of the suppliers they use. They're all denying they have any part in the production of this device. This is pretty standard practice when a product hasn't been officially announced, but most companies will tell their suppliers if they've signed an agreement—otherwise there would be no reason for them to be making parts.

So… what do you think? Is it a hoax? Or is something big coming our way?

When I read the headline "When Haircuts Were Illegal," I thought:

"Wow, that seems like a pretty basic human right. What's up with that?"

Then I read the article and found out it was about France after the revolution.

At first, I was like: "Dang, France. You're supposed to be all about liberty and whatnot."

But then I started thinking about how hard it is to change people's mindsets, especially when you're trying to get rid of centuries of a monarchical class system. It turns out that changing people's laws is relatively easy compared to changing their hearts.

And then I realized that there are many other common practices and industries that are also illegal in France. Like Uber, Airbnb, and genetically modified foods—even though they're totally legal in most places around the world. That made me think: "Hmm… maybe France isn't so bad after all. They're just doing their own thing."

Growing apart and losing touch is NOT human or healthy!

Sure, you might run into someone who says "it's totally normal" to lose touch with your best friend from high school, but don't listen to them. It's not normal or healthy to lose touch with the people you care about most. If your best friend from high school doesn't know what kind of cereal you like anymore, do something about that! Reach out!

And even if you think it's too late for you—that you've let things go too far—you have to remember that it's never too late. You can always try again. And while it might be hard at first, and it might take time, the effort will be worth it in the end. You're worth it.
