Thank you. I cannot see the connection between the nerf analogy and being banned from Claude for looking up publicly available information via a non straightforward route.
Are Claude and the Claude user the Nerfer and Nerfee? Or visa versa?
If you want to spell it out I'd be happy to read it but I'm also ok not knowing and fine to park it and move on. Cheers.
Thank you. That explains this nerf. But I don't see how that applies to the comment. Do you? It may be the nerf reply was meant for someone else or some other post.
>Wild guess, but even if those creating the filters would agree with you, it doesn’t mean they know how to nerf the system only for the cases they want to actively wipeout.
Thank you. I don't understand your comment. I don't know 'nerf' (as in Star Wars?) in this context, and the system to wipeout is what? Are you referring to Assisted Suicide?
Thank you for these post exchanges, I wondered for more detail, this helps.
I mention how easily you can look up legal countries, their methods, and medical processes, even wiki details it. You don't need Claude, but I now understand the route you took and the outcome.
>researching Nordic assisted death and asking which drug exactly they administered (and what quantity).
Odd ban. The countries with legally passed instances use similar drugs/processes — you could research about those, wiki, google, actual websites, dignitas et al. No ban needed. Was the ban reason spelt out? Was it your wording?
>CoMaps is better targeted to the needs of most people.
Thank you. Both use OSM. The similarities are so slight I'd be inclined to recommend a region specific map, as is our friend with norgeskart.no for those particular cases.
I admit I haven't reloaded OsmAND this year, but I do every year, and delete it every year. Moreover, for me, using OSM is partly to get away from trackers, and facebook at all costs.
Thank you. You've articulated a common flaw in almost the entire comment-based internet. I'm an idiot and come here to learn, from a genuine curiosity standpoint - that doesn't stop experts behaving childishly though. It's simply far too easy to chide or downvote whilst 'hiding' behind account names, pseudonyms, and by the same token a flood of mob-rule can decimate curiosity in a matter of seconds. It's worse for kids. The best of the best is out there too, the well meaning, the guilty, the innocent, all at once.
I ditched osmand because the interface is so
convoluted. Ridiculously so. Plus theres a facebook pixel in there somewhere, at least there was when I dropped it 10 years ago.
CoMaps seem sincere.
For Nordic/outdoors, outcomes using either osmand/comaps/etc in practice are going to be very similar.
A thought experiment. Cameras everywhere, zero privacy, some murders. No cameras anywhere, total privacy, probably more murders. If cameras everywhere meant zero crime, would you be for it? Can cameras everywhere ever equate to no crime ever; I don't think so. There's some serious pre-crime notions here too.
Sidenote, on bkurtz.io, tapping the burger menu opens 4 choices, one of which is light/dark look. Both looks are typical, the site is black/white (more or less). With dark the background to the 4 choices is black, with white letters. But on light, the background blurs with white letters. The light looks is hard to see, blurred isnt blurred enough, and font is small/skinny. Is that what everyone else sees?
It was my intention to add some background detail, for anyone not aware, or wanting a side dive, about how BMI stands 'these days'. As such, it can be said the variables may be considered wider than they may appear at first (in the article conclusions). Which is a roundabout way of saying we all 3 are agreeing.
Je n’ai fait celle-ci plus longue que parce que je n’ai pas eu le loisir de la faire plus courte.
I like his vision. Can you recommend a pod? The UK based Solid Community ones (and others, apparently) are 'experimental'.
"To use this system, you must understand that we cannot make any guarantees regarding the security and privacy of data that you may store in a solidcommunity.net Solid pod, or concerning the system's functionality and availability."
