I remember them getting in trouble a couple years ago in the EU, I wonder if this the result of it. Back then, every website that had a Facebook button, would put a Facebook cookie on your machine. So it was basically cancer, and everyone had it. I think Twitter and G+ did/do the same thing too.

Spent a month in university libraries handing out candy and asking groups of students to try out our sharing platform. We then would take what we learned that day and code changes/fixes before we left or when we got home so we could go out again in the morning.

This is really reassuring. I can't think of how a company would take advantage of my house layout, but they always find a way.

Look for keywords like “lean” and “agile” to find tech companies with remote work options. And keep in mind that if a posting makes no mention of being remote, chances are that it isn’t.
