> Does any of you have a time machine at hand? Both me and my wife would like to tell him how much we love him, and hear his great stories one last time.

I don't but he knew you loved him. People who have introspection after losing someone usually are great at telling people. I have lost people which is why I do and tell people how I feel about them.

Since you can do static hosting from a git repo, I wonder if you could directly push your changes to your git repo and have your CI/CD solution just deploy it instead?

There has to be a git.js implementation out there and you could move the DB to it's own repo and create an https access token (for Github)... the issue there is that someone could use that token to commit whatever to your database repo.

TP-Link Omada is locally controlled (through a smartphone) but you can buy the Omada Cloud to control it remotely.

It works with their small 16 port (8 PoE switch).

Shout out to the "IZOKEE Development Board for ESP8266" I have fallen in love with for being so goddamn cheap!

That's a good point, but these guys just wanted me to help them unfuck what they fucked up.

I've actually done worse to a bad employer...

I picked up the phone, said my name, and as soon as they dropped that, I said "Oh, he's dead" and hung up. My former boss sent me a text later going "Very mature, but very funny"

Edit: Boss was the only one who had his head on straight

I love seeing designs that fail while keeping the product as electrically hot as possible - said noone ever.

Roku does it now... you have to register the 'Roku TV' before using it (even if it's not network connected). TV generates a code, punch it into their network, get counter code.

I can totally see a month to month plan for getting a TV (the 50" is $260, so you could do a $20/month and come out ahead after the first year).
